Detroit Cobras and Pastel Motel Obliterate The Seasons (PHOTOS)

Punk rock band Detroit Cobras — in what they are calling their “Tribute to Rachel” tour made a stop at The Seasons Performance Hall on Friday, February 24, 2023.

The Cobras were originally fronted by Rachel Nagy, who unexpectedly passed away last year. However, original guitarist Mary Cobra recruited Marcus Durant to handle lead vocals — and the band decided to pay tribute to Rachel with this mini tour.

Opening things was local favorite Pastel Motel — who also had to make a substitution on lead vocals due to illness — and recruited Amanda Simmons — who felt like she should be the permanent frontwoman for the band.

If you were not able to make it out to the show, here is a recap of what you missed!
