Crowbar Performs At A Sold Out Neumos

Sludge Metal band, Crowbar, made a stop on its current tour at Neumos in Seattle. The rabid crowd had packed the venue early in the evening, with the hard core metal heads taking the place at the front or near the front of the stage.

Crowbar, who hales from New Orleans, LA and consists of Kirk Windstein (vocals / guitar), Tommy Buckley (drums), Matt Brunson (lead guitar) and Shane Wesley (touring bassist), came out to a thunderous applause and proceeded to tear through a nine song, forty five minute set that saw the circle pit erupt front and center of the stage. The crowd surfers had finally made their presence known about a third of the way through the set.

Though Crowbar was in a support slot, many in the crowd had come out to see Crowbar. The band was solid, tight and played many a fan favorite. There wasn’t much fanfare or talking from Windstein between songs, as the band didn’t need to, as they let their music do the talking.

…And Suffer As One
To Build A Mountain
Cemetary Angels
Walk With Knowledge Wisely
To Carry The Load
