Legendary punk artist’s Rancid and Dropkick Murphys will be making a stop at Seattle’s WAMU Theatre this Friday in support of their From Boston to Berkley Tour.
In a press release sent to VNYLDEN,
Dropkick Murphys are touring in support of their 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory album, released through the band’s own Born & Bred Records earlier this year. The album debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and was the #1 independently released album. There’s a feeling of purpose throughout the album, influenced by the band’s work with The Claddagh Fund, a charity the band established in 2009 to help support addiction recovery as well as children’s and veterans’ organizations.
It’s been over four years since Rancid has returned to the Seattle area. The band recently released their latest album Trouble Maker in June to rave reviews. It also marks the 21st anniversary of the band’s masterpiece …And Out Come The Wolves.
Joining both bands on this leg of the tour at The Selectors and 7Seconds frontman Kevin Seconds.
Tickets for this show are sold out.
